As previously reported by BoxingScene.com, IBF super flyweight champion Cristian Mijares is searching for a new opponent after mandatory challenger Raul Martinez injured his nose during a training session. The two names being mentioned in the running to face Mijares on May 14 at Ciudad Obregon in Sonora, Mexico are - Ricardo Nunez (20-2, 17KOs) of Panama and former WBO champion Jose Lopez (39-9, 32KOs) of Puerto Rico.
