Don Felix Trinidad along with promoter Don King have agreed to postpone Tito Trinidad’s next outing tentatively penciled in for March 19th following the breakdown of talks with leading rival Ronald “Winky” Wright. King informed Don Felix that negotiations were at a standstill with little or no hope of an immediate agreement and that as such could not satisfy the elder Trinidad’s request of finalizing Tito’s next rival by tomorrow. Trinidad Sr. had previously informed DKP that should he not be able to finalize the rival by the weekend that Tito would decline to fight, as there would not be enough time to properly prepare the pride of Cupey Alto.
