Wait a second. Did Floyd come out and say he wanted to fight again? Did he say he was sending someone over to negotiate with Arum? Or did he say he was on vacation and wasn't focused on boxing?
He said it himself that he wasn't interested in the fight a year ago and he hasn't said anything different since. Where's the debate?
How many boxers want a shot at Pacquiao with normal testing? Every single one.
How many boxers did PBF take on and beat with normal testing before Pacquiao? Every single one.

Seriously, for a man that's so irrelevant in the boxing world, it seems that every single day you have Pacquiao fans and team Pacquiao themselves bringing up his name. *******s know more about Floyd than most of his own fans do.
did you read the article?

this whole **** is just ******...they prod and prod PAC about Floyd...he doesn't wanna talk about him...when he does, he gives compliments...read the article
then i look at the thread, and its the same tired, repetitive argument that you guys love to engage in and get all riled over
fighting over speculations on what other people might have and might not have said
its lame
I want to see something good from the other side I hope to one day see it because I don't get it, I love arguing and taking up points that are hard to argue but I have never been able to do that with the other side in this debate so one day I hope someone shows me a ray of light.
I won't give up my hope that easily.

According to Manny Pacquiao's adviser, Michael Koncz, undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr. brushed aside an offer of $50 million to face the Filipino WBO welterweight champion. Koncz claims that a country outside of the United States made a massive offer of $100 million to stage the contest. Under a previously agreed 50-50 split, Mayweather would have received half of that money. During the last few months, groups located in South Africa and within several countries in the Middle East have been contacting Pacquiao's promoter, Top Rank, with big offers to stage the Mayweather fight.
"A country that I won't name offered us $100 million to bring the Mayweather fight there," he told ABS-CBS News. "So we, in turn, offered $50 million to Mayweather as a guarantee. If the pay-per-view comes in higher, Manny and Mayweather would make more. He refused the $50 million… It means he doesn't want to fight Manny at this point in his career. Very simple."

You can nitpick all you want, but it's clearly the test that's stopping the fight. It looks like Koncz backed Roger's claimed about each of them getting 50/50 each rather than Arum's.Last edited by Carpe Diem; 05-03-2011, 05:37 PM.

Mayweather is scared to death of Pacquiao. The fight was a done deal the first time until the brought up the unprecedented OSDT which has never been done in the history of boxing.

If it was important enough to me that I would file a lawsuit, blow up the biggest possible fight and face questions over it yea I would~ I may not like it but sometimes you do have to do things you don't like when put in that sort of position.
