Why does GBP want Ginger/JMM rather than Khan/JMM?

The Ginger kid is too big, even though I think JMM could outbox him. That ginger couldn't even make the catchweight to fight matt hatton, how is he gonna make 147 comfortably? I think the ginger will fail to make weight and JMM will be forced to fight anyways just like JMM was forced to fight wifebeater who was the bigger man.

JMM won't have the pop to hurt the ginger as JMM is a LW. Also JMM got dropped by limited unskilled brawler katsidis... even the ginger has a chance early to knock down JMM if JMM is too aggressive.

The Ginger vs JMM should not appeal to any boxing fan.

Now, Khan/JMM is a better fight. Khan can be JMM's tune up to get used to a higher weight class. Also, Khan is chinny so JMM has a legit shot to put Khan down. Not only that, Khan and Pac are in roach's stable and if JMM beats Khan, it's only natural for Roach to get pac to avenge that loss for Roach.

I have no idea why Schaefer would offer JMM the Ginger over Khan. reasons why I think GBP won't put JMM in with Khan and would prefer to put JMM in with the Ginger:

1. JMM has a better chance to beat Khan, GBP's future cash-cow, than the Ginger
2. GBP is sacrificing JMM to increase the hype of the Ginger
3. maybe the Ginger does better PPV buys than Khan
4. the Ginger challenged JMM to a fight on mexican TV and GBP isn't selling this fight to Americans, but to Mexicans

Because Golden Boy thinks Canelo is to big for Marquez and he will beat him. Marquez might beat Khan, so why would GB give him to Marquez when they completely lose him in February.

It's the only match up they can make that would sell enough so that they can match Top Ranks offer to fight Pac.
