      Rhodes

They're not bringing Rhodes to MX to win...if canelo's peps had a doubt he wouldn't be fighting him.

No, I think they are just assuming Rhodes is another Hatton, which he isn't.

If i had to put money on it, id put it on canello by decision, but i wouldnt be surprised at all if Rhodes gets to him, I think Saul will be shocked at how physically powerful Rhodes is, he will be by far the strongest man alvarez has ever faced, if he can force that strength onto the young Canello, it could be major problems for saul

There isn't one single poster on this message board that believes that.

In all fairness they probably did see him as overhyped Brit. If you look at his last 2 fights, they're against poor opposition, he's got a losing record and his last meaningful fight was against Jamie Moore in 2009.

However, it is going to be a tough fight for Alvarez and you'd be ****** to think not, Rhodes has the ability and I think he'll bring his A game and cause one of the upsets of the years! He's been waiting for his shot for a long time and I think he fully deserves this so WAR RHODES!!

This is a great fight. It's the kind of fight that doesn't usually get made in boxing because Rhodes doesn't bring a lot to the table apart from a (deservedly) high ranking. He is however, easily the hardest test Canelo has faced, so probs to Alvarez and his team for taking the fight. Imo this is probably in the top 2 fights scheduled in boxing at the moment along with Klitschko-Haye.

Well done, you've just expressed the view of an idiot. Plus the one sentence you managed to put together made no sense whatsoever.

Ryan can say that he will knock Canelo out, he's bigger, he's stronger, there is no law against talk, but don't get all patriotic and start dreaming that it's anything more than bravado. They will weigh the same on fight night and the record shows that Ryan might make it to the last bell, but he is not going to win, he knows how to lose and will figure out some way to do it.
