Problem is it takes Wlad until the last rounds before he even tries to land the steelhammer. He's very conservative, doesn't take any risks, happy to jab. Even Manny Steward gets angry at Wlad for it. So yeah, if Wlad hasn't been KO'd by the 10th, then Haye could be in trouble.

Haye hasn't looked menacing against anyone (heavyweight) except Ruiz, a fight where he was jabbed at will, and Ruiz was well past it, and had been beaten soundly by Chagaev before that fight, which is why I'm leaning towards an early KO for Wlad. I don't think Haye will get inside the jab. If I thought he could I'd give him a good shot, but he doesn't have Sanders type of style at all. Even if he did Wlad has adjusted his gameplan since that fight enough that he wouldn't get beaten again by that type of fighter.Fair enough, but what gives Haye a real chance is his decent power, speed and more importantly his mobility. He isn't a typical out of shape, podgy Klitschko opponent who move towards them in a straight line making it all so easy for Klits to break them down with the jab until they can't stand.
Haye is a very different style to what Wlad is comfortable to. Not sure if Wlad will be able to cope with Haye's circular movement and his general speed.
I guess we'll see.
For the improvements in his game look no further than Brewster II and Peter II, it's pretty obvious he has adjusted well to those losses.Comment

Wlad is not aggresive enough,he is not a pressure fighter,he is limited in what he dares to try out,Haye will be prepared for the limited style and limited work of wlad, wlad wont be ready for Hayes combination of speed, power, strength, sharpness, quick reflexes and tactical gameplan/combinations.
the klits will try ruin hayes fan base getting cheaper tickets or good tickets for good price and will want less there,or them all to pay more to get inside haye's head and play games.
Haye will be more aggresive v wlad than he was v valuev, come on people for ffs, valuev has never been knocked down never mind stopped,he is much taller, heavier and bigger than wladmir,of course haye wasnt going to take it to valuev and try KO him early, especially after valuevs rockhard head damaged haye's right hand.
The distance haye has to close is not big tbh, hayes height and speed is more than enough to land clean and often on wlad!.Haye will control the jab, slip to the side, and attack from angles, wlad has a better chin and stamina due to pacing better in fights and his conditioning, but haye's fast punches will damage wlads chin.
Go watch the first few rounds of chambers, ibragimov vs wlad, they land clean shots on him, just have no real power and dont do it from stepping into the inside,or from stepping to the angles and throwing. They limit his activity, they paw and punch his jab which stops his right hands, chambers stopped wlad leaning for aslong as wlad wanted to,haye has the relfexes to counter these attemps or allow them and slip under and throw overhand right hands if wlad dares get so close.
wlad is fast for his size, but nowhere near as fast as haye.He doesnt throw as fast,he is upright and has no guard,he does no slip or avoid punches, just leans/holds/keeps his distance from straight coming forward slow sluggers.
Haye will have top sparring for wlads long reach, strong jab,and speed for his size,he will have the range and jab controlled and adjusted to before the fight.
he can make wlad angry to attack and counter him each time,he can make wlad chase, tire out, misss jabs and get countered,he can make wlad lean and clinch then attack wlad when hes in that close.
Wlad will find it very hard to land, and will get tense, tired and nervous.
Haye will make wlad ineffective and land heavy on wlad.Comment

in the ruiz fight haye had no sparring due a cut,he fought ruiz without sparring and was not sharp, hence getting jabbed a lot,not being accurate early on and not being sharp enough to put ruiz down and to stay down in the 1st round.Haye hasn't looked menacing against anyone (heavyweight) except Ruiz, a fight where he was jabbed at will, and Ruiz was well past it, and had been beaten soundly by Chagaev before that fight, which is why I'm leaning towards an early KO for Wlad. I don't think Haye will get inside the jab. If I thought he could I'd give him a good shot, but he doesn't have Sanders type of style at all. ruiz wasnt in great prime shape, but he was in his last chance saloon shape where he worked hard ,looked in good shape, was taking punishment and kept trying all through the fight.
Haye can easy slip the jab, slip to the side, and attack with 2-3 punch combinations to wobble wladmir.
All haye has to do is prepare for the range speed and leaning with the correct sparring an make sure he is focused and sharp in the fight.Comment

If Haye uses the tactics he used against Valuev against Wladimir than he is toast.
Wladimir is not a slow plodding giant like everyone seems to think. He has good movement and mobility for a man his size and also has decent hand speed.
Haye definently can't keep his hands low like he usually does and rely on head movement alone because Wladimir's jab is so fast, hard and snappy that he won't be able to get out of the way all the time and once Wladimir starts landing the jab that devastating cross right will be right behind it.
I have not seen any fight at heavyweight that has convinced me that Haye can beat Wladimir. He was an open target for old man Ruiz's jab for petes sake! If Haye is to win this its by a lottery punch that Wlad don't see. I give Haye no more than a punchers chance.Comment

Haye didn't get jabbed because he had no sparring, it's just his style and the way he fights. He got jabbed against Valuev as well.
It is what it is, he doesn't have great defense.Comment

But land in the middle of the ring, and dont let Wlad land on the ropes cushioning his fall. Wlad might get the smelling salts out as well for good meausre.Comment

I don't think Haye can take much of a punch , he might be a good runner but he throws wide punches that leaves him open for the jab(deadly ) , he might get lucky but I'm betting on K to jab him to zero and finish him off in a big way .Comment
