but amir doesn't get hte same "asian" credentials as pac, because he grew up in a first world country in a working/lower-middle class household - MILES above the standards, conditions, dangers and proclivities in which manny grew up. however, khan still reps PAKISTAN, which is the country where i was born and basically spent the first 8 years of my life - so he gets 50% "asian" props.

So amir wasnt born in Britain? I wouldnt consider him asian, much like mexican fighters dont consider DLH mexican. And most filipinos dont consider themselves asian, so im going by that logic. So to me theyre not asian legends.
And amir has yet to be proven to be called a legend. Now pac has a case.
Saying the Philippines isnt in asia is like saying the japanese, indos, and malaysians arent in asia because they are islands off the asian continent? How ****** is that theory.
Philippines is a south east asian country if you disagree then go do geography because it is a fact, the Philippines is in asia so therefore the people who live there are classified as asians.
All pacific islanders originated from asia any way.Comment

Some people dont seem to know that Asia is a continent and that all countries within in it and its people are "Asian" its not a difficult concept to understand.Comment

True he was born there but if Britain did not allow him to make the olympics, Pakistan would have been happy to invite him to represent them in the Olympics just like Andre Berto with Haiti.
The Philippines is in SOUTH EAST ASIA and is a member of the ASEAN nations, just like Malaysia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and so many others.
