this picture was likely taken around 06 or 07, Shannon Briggs took the title on the night of mayweather baldomir against Liahovich (sp). Winky Wright was still chapmion with victories over Ike Quartey and Trinidad. Arturo Gatti would later be knocked out by baldomir and of all people alfonso gomez and was pretty much at the end of his career. The fight against Daamagard was pretty much his swan song. sad because i remember when he fought gomez he said he was so comfortable at welterweight and everything would be fine, but being in shape doesnt mean much. you hear that all the time "im in the best shape of my life"
