A psychological profile.

28 year old, sub par athlete/NBA groupie who walks around Houston in NBA Jerseys trying to act like a baller. Struggled in school with learning disability. Feels great about finally leaving his mom's basement and moving in with a buddy. Has minimal success with women and survives by denying reality. A typical night out means leaning against the bar in basketball jersey trying to act smooth but getting no results. He lies to himself that "ALL the bytches were ugly anyways and that one model chick with the big ass had a terrible laugh." Basically he is a sucker with no game, no real future yet standards low enough to convince himself he "made it!"

Mills asks the doctor if he wants to stop the fight. Chavez motions to continue fighting, when asked by Mills. Attempting to hide the fact, would be a sad attempt to twist what can be viewed in plain sight.

The doctor himself is uncertain, as he recommended the fight to be stopped. And thinks, Chavez answer to his question to stop was a yes. Emphasis on “thinks”, as there is an obvious language barrier between the two.

Hell Chavez had no idea, how bad the cut was until he was interviewed.

It was a poor call from the doctor. Yes it was a bad gash, enough for the fight to be stopped. But no Chavez did not quit in that particular fight.
