this just confirms what we already know, boxing is dead in the mainstream.

Liev Schrievers (or however you spell his name) made the 24/7 shows... without him 24/7 is boring. So Fight Camp 360 is obviously missing out. Especially if it is two fighters who have nothing bad to say about each other.

Yea I gotta say, CBS/ Showtime didn't really go IN on this Fight Camp Series as far as I thought in relation to pushing the product hard. I've seen numerous ads for the PPV (in general), but to me, this Fight Camp didn't do anymore than what a 24/7 would've done as far as promoting the fight, and 24/7 isn't on network tv.

Now obviously people are going to point to Pacquiao as him "Not Being Relevant" or "Not a Big Name". But even me being much more knowledgeable than your quintessential "casual fan", I myself didn't even know when these shows aired nor did I see any promos for the shows on CBS.

Yeah, I think it has mostly to do with their horrible scheduling. They showed the first episode at 12pm ET. The second episode wasn't even on CBS. The third was at 8pm. And I can't even tell you what time this week's is without googling the schedule.

Yup, even the biggest fans had difficulty following this roller coasting tv schedule. When NSB has trouble finding the airings, the casual fan will only find them by pure luck.

Basketball or not, people either want to watch boxing or not.

Feb 19th was the NBA Dunking Contest, around the same time they were giving Donaire vs Montiel. That didn't stop 1.020 million total live viewers from watching Donaire vs Montiel[Nielsen Media Ratings].

So the "they were giving basketball" excuse is null. Even casual fans have no interest in this fight.
