i agree - dirrell is not far away from making some serious money if he plays his cards right. he has all the talent - the flash, and he has a good punch to go with it.

He'd need to do a serious Haye-esque con job to get the public (and any big networks) behind him. Not only has the guy proved to be flakey and undependable as hell, but he's quite willing to stink out the joint so long as he gets paid at the end of it. Are these the sorts of qualities that make superstars?

I see absolutely nothing enticing about a Bute Dirrell showdown; in fact I see very little enticing fights involving Dirrell period, and that's taking all his di****able out-of-the-ring antics out of the equation. He's simply not got a crowd pleasing style. He actively avoids engaging his opponents (defence is one thing, what Dirrell does is another), spoils, clinches, drops to his knees, and has shown that he'll stoop to any measures when the going gets tough in order to get the win.

I don't care how much talent the guy has, I'd be quite willing to never see this guy set foot in the ring again.

I just cant make my self like this guy. I follow him on twitter and everything he tweets just makes him dislike him more. He has skills but will never have a big following. And everyone knows he DUCKED ward. Which i dont blame him since they are friends, and it would suck getting embarrased and KOed by you friend
