All indications so far points to it being a monster in terms of sales. The MGM was sold out a month before the fight, there have already been 7,000 closed circuit seats sold (per Kevin Iole, and he says normally 95% of c.c. seats are sold 24 hrs before the fight, so that number is absurdly high). Fight Camp got 1.3 million viewers on CBS, a ton of advertisements all over the place, etc.

I think it will do huge numbers, would've been better had Shane looked better in his last few fights but I think that only enters into hardcore fans' thinking when considering whether or not to buy the card, but most are streamers anyway lol.

Fact is, this episode registered almost 2x as many viewers as the highest rated 24/7 episode, about 4x more than the average. Not to mention it also aired on Showtime and is on youtube, so that expands the reach/viewership even further.
Are you comparing paid TV to free TV? Smh, people will watch anything thats free, but when they have to pay, they will question it to the death.

The majority of the people who watch CBS watch it through a converter box, unless you know something we don't, you can't order PPV's through a converter box.

Is the promotion big on this fight?
I must admit the May/Mosley fight was a huge promotion I actually thought it would reach higher PPV numbers still good numbers but the promotion on that fight was massive.

Should be entertaining fight although I don't rate Mosley at this stage and I do believe it will be a one sided beat down. But I'm all for surprises

No ****, but it's obvious that the involvement of CBS is having a huge impact on fight sales already to industry insiders, even before a single PPV is sold. Great article from Iole (talks about Boxing moving back to the networks as well):

The most shocking thing about that article is that anybody at all watches something as ******ed as Nascar.

                possible Arum response

"This is great, great news. We were expecting a significantly smaller number, but the fact that it resulted in that shows how much the American public is looking forward to this fight. We're bringing boxing back to the networks."

A lot of pre fight hype, the seats are sold out, why should anybody be surprised when he sells 40,000+ in cowboys stadium.

The hype for this fight is consistent with any other PAC fight.
