What sort of uneducated comment is this?.

Henry Cooper had more class than some people can ever dream of. Not just his boxing skills, but his fantastic character, generosity, and latter career, long after he retired from the ring. He was held in very high regard by all in the pugilistic world.

Unless you can post something intelligent, keep your fingers off the keyboard.

        RIP 'Enery....a true legend.

          Agreed, good stuff man.

It is heartening to see genuine regard for the old legends of our sport, guys that have not laced em up during our generation. And not just from the Brit fan's either.

Personally, I would prefer to stay away from the Cooper/Ali debate, because that incident was just another one of the many things that - in hindsight - make our sport so great. Controversy, especially involving someone such as Ali, is not necessarily always a blight on the sport, it all adds to the intrigue and heritage.

Sir Enery holds his place in our minds and hearts, because he earnt it.

          RIP champ.

This is my first post - I registered to say RIP to the great Sir Henry Cooper. A true gent.

One of the reasons why I can't stand fighters such as De Gale. And why they'll never be loved by the public. I even wish De Gale had died instead of Sir Henry.
