What an idiot! How hard is it to make Manny bring the fight to you rather than putting yourself at risk by going after the much faster, Manny? You've seen what happened to Cotto when he decided it was a good idea to bullied Manny; rather than followed his game plan as he did in the first round. Same thing with JMM, he was outboxing Manny, but then got carried away and loss(arguably) both fights.

He's even more stubborn by trying to be the aggressor rather letting Manny come to him. If you keep far enough distance between you and your opponent, then one guy is going to have to come forward to force the action otherwise there won't be fight. Let the younger, much fresher fighter be the aggressor this time, and hope you can catch him coming in and out.

This is the same mistake EVERY SINGLE Pacquiao opponent makes. They all are under this assumption that Pacquiao sits and trades. So while they stand still waiting to trade Pacquiao is moving and throwing.

We know Manny isn't Floyd, and Floyd isn't Manny. But if Shane's Game plan is to try and bully Manny, then it'll be over fast. He must understand that he's the older fighter, and he'll need every energy that he can save/use to have a chance in that fight. He has a much longer reach advantage than Manny, and all he have to do is stay in his lane, and let Manny come to his lane. Is it that simple? No. Is it an impossible Game plan to follow? Absolutely not.

Good point, and I agree, there is more than one way to skin a cat, Shane needs to fight smart this time out. The thing is, Mosley has a superb trainer, a real boxing guru, and I would be much more interested to hear from him rather than listen to Shane's offhand comments, which were likely made in reply to leading questions.

I doubt that Mosley intended to " air " his gameplan for Team Pacquiao.

****m knows, I wanna hear what he has to say.

i agree completely and this is what i have been saying for months.. for shane

to win he needs to stay stationary and let pac come to him...not move an inch

and when pac starts to come in then adjust his feet and throw 2 and 3 punch

combinations, short, sharp and straight punches, body and head...lots of lead

                  left hooks to the body....

do NOT chase pac, do not tire himself out and expend his energy....

shane needs to create openings with these quick combinations...not try to

out quick pac like he tried against floyd.......

look at bernard, he didnt out quick pascal, he out timed him and created

                  openings and used ring iq...

shane needs to stay disciplined, relaxed and very conservative....

stay sharp and short with good punches not over exerting himself thrrough

                  throwing huge haymakers.....

shane has a lot of power, he needs to let it add up, not try to knock pac out

                  with one punch

the problem is shane cannot be prepared for pacs speed and angles,he just cannot spar for it.

Also: he doesnt have a good enough defence,he doesnt have much movement,he couldnt deal with jabs v cotto,he couldnt deal with mora and floyds movement, hes not going to change of all a sudden and be super technical,he will always look for power shots and Knockouts and ignore his speed to have more power.

Shane will give up some kind of half decent effort, but pac will bring so much more, and each time they thnk they got the pac puzzle solved,he adds something new to his game.

Pac will be to fast and busy for poor shane, the movement and speed will have shane flustered and frustrated.

pac will tire out shane with body shots early on,hes going to do that left hook counter to the body, hele do it everytime shane tries to land a right hand, roach said a very telling thing in latest 360"hes got a good chin so were going to the body",at shanes age,hes in good shape, but he will get worn down quicker than as if he was younger and more prime.

I just hope shanes reflexes really arent totally shot and that he can still pull the trigger,i really want shane to bounce back and face/beat cotto, williams, ortiz and retire on a high note.

And for pac to fight marquez then fight floyd, with floyd taking a decent fight inbetween this all.
