Cotto was the biggest fight of his career, Shane was a big underdog against Margarito. Why would he try to use illegal wraps for a guy he is expected to beat and very possibly knockout AFTER he just won the biggest fight of his life and became the top guy in the welterweight division?

You overrate Cotto. Cotto was a B class fighter, who almost got KTFO by a bum Ricardo Torres, who was a small 147. He wasn't that much of a challenge for Margarito compared to Paul Williams or Santos

to say Cotto wasnt his biggest fight is ridiculous. And Torres Cotto was at 140 againest a weight drained Cotto. And at the beginning the plaster is soft, thin, blends with the handwrap. He didnt take his wraps off postfight, why? Wraps all look and feel hard after a fight, you see Mayweathers wraps postfight, huge and appear hard. No one notices cause he was given the benefit that hes not that type of prson. Why use plaster againest a underdog and not a serious threat? Cotto does get busted up kind of easy. Look at him after the Clottey fight, he sure looked like he lost. Cotto's face marks up rather quick.

I honestly believe that the same Margarito who lost to Pacquaio beats Cotto again. Cotto does tire and Margarito never stops coming and throwing. Clottey would have beaten him if he was busier.
