I really thought that either Pacquiao-Mayweather would happen, or Mayweather would stick around and take back the p4p title and the public support from Pacquiao after this fight.

He really wasted a great win over the last year.

Yeah, IMO Boxing has had a good two years the last two years... some good up and comers who have the potential to be future stars (and make me believe when Floyd and Manny are finished for good Boxing will be in safe hands) a lot of upsets like you said, some great fights, etc.

In all fairness, I think the only year you could call bad for Boxing was 2009 which Pacquiao sorta kept the sport interesting and Mayweather returning helped a great deal too, other than that from what I remember there wasn't that much going on, 2007-2008 were pretty good years IMO.

I think it was more so because so many Boxers died in 2009 which sorta made the year dull.
