JuanMa is a better fighter than Salido. But styles make fights. I ask myself, can Lopez adjust well enough to win a rematch? I don't see it. I want to pick JuanMa, based on his better ability, but I can't see him avoiding all those rights Orlando was feeding him in their first bout. I'm pretty sure about two things: 1- JuanMa's career will be in a tailspin if he loses again to Salido. 2- Lopez knows this; he'll be fighting with great urgency the second time out. Hmmm...maybe I've talked myself into picking JuanMa. lol

salido is a c-class figher, juanma is b-class figher but salido is busier and determined to win...his intensity pays off..

both gamboa and donaire can knocked out either juanma or salido...

I guess u haven't realized that Gamboa ALREADY fought Salido & couldn't knock him out, as a matter of fact Gamboa didnt look impressive in that fight & Salido actually dropped Gamboa in the 8th & Gamboa did drop Salido in the 12th(twice) but couldn't finish him..& even thou Donaire is a great fighter(he's the full package)he's still 2 category's down, so can't really say much until he's in their weight class..

For someone fighting at 126, walking around at 145 is NOT a lot, that's just about normal..Fighters usually walk around 15 to 20lbs(or sometimes even a little more) above their actual fighting weight..

Loving the fact that Juanma will be training about 5-10 minutes from my home here in ft. lauderdale! Imma trying hitting the gym he chooses everyday while he is there. Hopefully i can get some hookups & connections for future fights. LOL.

that's what's up! ive seen some of the gyms in south florida - lots of talent.

I think Juan Ma is giong to get his title back. Ive watched the fight about 3 times now and a few simple adjustments and I don't see how Juan Ma can't win this fight. He is going to have to train like never because he is going to need all his stamina to implement the necessary pivots and increased jab count.

Salido has other plans, but I guess if the money is right he would be on board.

Juanma López should fight Jhonny González in August if he can't get a rematch with Orlando Salido. It would be a fight between two fighters who punch hard but also have defensive lapses.

Juanma needs to work on his defense & especially on avoiding them right hands..Juanma could come in faster, but if he doesn't work on his defense, expect more or less the same outcome..The problem is not where he trains, is how he trains & what they work on & coming into the fight in condition & with the RIGHT STRATEGY!!..
Gamboa overwhelmed Salido and actually knocked him out. It just didn't count as a KO because Gamboa cheated Salido by throwing an extra punch when Salido was already out so the ref did the correct thing and let Salido all the time he wanted to recover. Speed doesn't bother Salido? Go watch the figth again, Salido lost every round except the one he got the flash knock down. Just watch his face in the later rounds, he looks scared as f**** to be in there. Remember that Gamboa lost 3 points because of the wrong punch and the knockdown and still managed to win by wide UD. People who say Gamboa struggled with Salido need to check themselves. People are so used to see Gamboa finish his fights early that when it goes to the final rounds, even if it was a total one sided domination, it will be considered as a weak performance.
