    BoxingScene.com was informed that junior welterweight Lucas Matthysse (28-1, 26KOs) is scheduled to arrive in the United States in order to train in Oxnard, California with Pablo Sarmiento, the trainer of middleweight king Sergio Martinez. Mattyhsse is preparing for his fight with former IBF/WBC champion Devon Alexander (21-1, 13KOs), which is scheduled to take place on June 25 at the Family Arena in St. Louis, Missouri. HBO will televise the fight.

          Im still going with Devon, if he ups his accuracy and lands more of his shots then he should win this, still dont think matthyse is anything special cause he literaly hasnt beat anyone, his biggest wins are vivian harris and corley lol. He actually struggled with Harris till the ref randomly stopped the fight. Either way it will be a good fight. Lets Go Alexander

              hopefully he learns a couple things from the martinez camp, cool to see them working together. pablo is sergio's assistant trainer though, his brother gabriel is the head coach. gabriel is dealing with legal issues though, so i guess pablo is taking over for now. can't wait for this fight though, alexander needs to improve his performances inside the ring, and this is a chance to breakout by landing a fight on HBO for lucas. the only person on his record that is still good with a name is a loss to judah, so he needs to prove himself to be able to beat the big names at 140. hopefully it's a great fight
