It would make the most sense, Haye is depending on his own little reality bubble where he is surrounded by a bunch of yes-men to power his confidence, his "mojo". Having to deal with Wlad at press-conference might just be too much of a strain on his preparation. Wlad is a much calmer and methodical operator inside and outside the ring, and is known to break down his opponents psychologically even before they enter the ring. He is an intimidating specimen to the max.

I can imagine Haye being intimidating physically but mentally not really, i think Haye likes it that he see's a bit of aggression in Wlad's eyes because he is hoping it will make him fight out of the ordinary....

Ha! Yeah and maybe Haye knows that Vitali will stand next to Wlad at the euro-pressers and Haye remembers what happened last time

            Here Vitali takes Haye's stetson:

And here he gets a shoulder wallop after Vitali tells Haye that he is angry with him having a pic of a beheaded Wlad (0.30):

              Nice vids.

Looked like Vitali gave him back the hat quickly.

And re the tap, I think Vitlai did that to Lennox after their fight was stopped. Lennox too kept his cool, having already gotten the victory and destroyed his face.

Seems to me that Haye is not intimidated. But all this is with Vitali, not Wlad. Maybe the fight with Wlad is being switched to Vitali?

Ive just watched the whole of the second video and its haye pointing in his face saying how he wants to fight him and how they should get it on, Vitali and Haye get on quite well i think to be honest. Haye certainly isn't intimidated he looks vitali straight in the eyes and says how he wants to fight him and he looks all calm and relaxed standing next to him.....

I doubt the fight's in any sort of trouble.

Yeah, I mean, why would anyone think that after Wlad himself said after they signed it that he doubted Haye would show up.

And Haye said he wondered if Wlad would show up.

And Valuev just said yesterday he doubted Haye would go through with it.

                    etc. etc. etc.

According to Haye's twitter, the press conferences have been pushed back a week for whatever reason.
