I think he can make 147, it's whether or not he wants to. I think with the way the 147 division is going to look in a year or so, I believe he'll make his way back down for the money. There isn't really anybody at 154.

I believe both Yuri and Mayorga said they felt Cotto's power (Mayorga said it in some spanish interview after the fight).

he probably can but has to starve himself to make 147. I doubt he wants to do that at this point in his career.

I think he has decent power at 154. He busted up Foreman and took him out with a body shot after all.

Where did I say Mayorga didn't feel it? I just said that punch in the 12th looked like it could KO a horse, yet Mayorga stood up and not on shaky legs.

mayorga is an awkward fighter and probably trained better than he has before.

also steward probably told cotto to box.

he could lose the weight if he wanted to.

if you look at close up pictures of cotto vs mayorga there is a soft layer around his mid section. he used to never have that, he was always fully ripped. there is extra weight he could lose imo.

it's not like he's fat or anything, but you can see some softness around his midsection. He's not quite as ripped at he was at 147 and imo he's just carrying extra weight that doesn't benefit him.
