its funny how pacroid does nothing but fight bums and no-hopers but when an up and comer wants to fight pac who may or may not win, evryone gets mad. whats the difference? a win over canelo or a fight with canelo is far more prestigious than anything pac or anyone pac has faced in his last 5 fights.

HHow many of you guys get dissapointed when theres a choke hold on good fights yet itll never happen due to the top rank/gb fued? Itll never happen.maybe julito.

Boxingfan - you are too gullible!! Canelo is now fighting his second British fighter in a row when there are guys like Trout who owns Canelo's family name. Calling out Pac and then fighting Rhodes is a damn joke. And calling Mosley a no-hoper or bum shows that you are about as ****** as it gets.

              what a fraud!!!!
Cotto wasn't washed up...he was ****ed up by Margachito, but thats another story...he looked quite good against Clottey, after all Clottey was still red hot back then.

Rhodes is a big step up from M. Hatton. Rhodes is a legit top 10 154 lber, whereas Hotton was a welterweight, and not even a top 15 welter at that. So, just bc his last 2 opponents are from England means nothing. Rhodes is a step-up, and definitely the toughest opponent he will face to this point.

Re Pacman, no chance the fight happens next yr due to Top Rank-Golden Boy feud. Especially considern that Alvaerz is already a big moenymaker, GoldenBoy won' risk that unless the payday is huge, and they get a decent % of the PPVs. Arum won't make the fight b/c Alvarez is bigger than Pac, improving as a fighter, and most importantly, won't risk Pac against a Golden Boy fighter - NO CHANCE. Better chance of pac-floyd happening

boxingfan76 - ur one of those -- tell me who Pac should have fought other than Maragrito, Clottey, Cotto, Hatton and de la Hoya.
de la hoya was a huge favorite and PAc was moving up 2 weight classes and had only fought above 130 1 time; it's easy to say now de la hoya was washed up, but the yr before he gave Mayweather a tough fight.
Hatton was 140 lb lineal champ and had never lost at that weight.
Cotto had only lost 1 time to guy with loaded gloves
Clottey was a solid top 5 welterweight who is no walk in the park for anyone
Margarito had a 20 lb weight advantage on fight night and was also a legit top 10 contender.
If he doesn't go on to fight the younger fighters such as Bradley and Ortiz in 2012, then he deserves criticism (unless it's b/c he's fighting Mayweather); otherwise, who should he have fought in the past 2 yrs who he didn't? and please don't give me that he should've fought Mosely earlier - if that's the best u got, then u got nothing - cuz Cotto beat Mosely, so Cotto deserved the fight before Mosely did.

your Cotto poster is off by a bit - his fights with Judah and Pac were more than 2 yrs apart - closer to 3 yrs

The Racket Squad: Where There's Smoke...

Saul must be smoking some of those Oklahoma, Tommy Z. dustbowl specials.
Chavez Jr. was in a a fire fight with Duddy It showed what he was made of. Alvarez won't be able to stand that kind of heat should Jr. bring it.

Canelo beleives what Oscar tells him.
At 20 years of age it's dangerous to start thinking that your press clippings are a true reflection of where and who you are.

If anyone discounts his next opponent, they are making an error.
Ryan is strong and I think Kirkland was only the tip of a hyped up, star making iceberg that will eventually suffer a meltdown.
