    Scott Harrison Opponent named today

featherweight Champ Scott Harrison will have his opponent for his 5th nov bout named later today(thurs)

The opponent will have known for a week or two already therefore will be in training already and be prepared for the bout within plenty of time.

Just hope its a quality opponent so Scott is allowed to show his doubters that he actually can compete against top opposition.

I would like to see him in with Pacman as Manny is custom built for Scott who would stop him within 6 rounds.

I think Pacquiao would stop Harrison within 6 rounds.

Pacquiao is different class to the Scot, and wouldn't have any trouble landing his heavy bombs.

Harrison's a brute when he can keep fighters in the pocket, which is where Pac would be most of the time. It'd be a pretty tasty fight I reckon with probably a late TKO win for Pac.

Ouch, Harrison would be crushed by Pac.

I think the problem with Scott Harrison is that he's just a fraction of a second slower than most elite fighters. But that fraction of a second allows him to get hit a little too often.

Scott Harrison is one tough bast**d, and he can take a punch... But There's a big difference between taking a punch from Medina/McCullough and taking one from a guy like Pacquiao!

Yeah, I'd agree Pac's speed wins him the fight and there's a chance he could catch Harrison cold and take an early TKO. If Harrison gets into the fight though, it could be a decent match-up.

Lets just hope the opponent isn't another Kebede cos the undercard is quality, as for Scott fighting Pacman, that along with Marquez are the two guys that Scott should avoid, he hates southpaws and don't forget Polo did deserve the decision in most people's eyes including mine, the unknown Walter Estrada gave him all sorts of bother before he collapsed out of nowhere and both of those guys aren't in Pacman's league for speed or power so Pacquiao would do a number on Scott as would Marquez imo, if someone stands and fights with Harrison he has a chance but in Pacman's case I could see Scott eating those straight lefts followed by the right combo that he throws all night. Chi would be his best bet as he was hurt and dropped against Suugama not long ago so he may be ready for the taking, in short keep him away from southpaws & counter punchers & he'll be fine

No way Scott in fighting Pac! Cuz hiz manager keeps in protecting him in fighting those scary opponents!!! I think he better fight like Fashang or Salido caliber fighters.??

I doubt he would beat the top men of the division but I would love to see it happen.

Its better to be beaten by a great fighter than keep fighting bums.
