I really don't care anything about Mayweather, I haven't enjoyed a Mayweather fight since the Emanuel Augustus fight. There he showed he could box and fight, because Augustus is a very scrappy fighter by nature and likes ti get into a real fight.

Mayweather ran in the first Castillo fight, His problem there was that Castillo pressured him so much that he couldn't get away, and was force to tie up, hold and, when castillo allowed him, fight back.

I remember that before this fight, or perhaps in the commentators discussion leading in to the fight, they mentioned such a possibility, because Castillo had been Julio Caesar Chavez'
main sparring partner for years, and would know the value of going to the body.

And if you recall, that's just what Castillo did, and kept close to him all the time, pursued him, got him into corners and wouldn't let him out.

Castillo won that fight, by a goodly margin.

What are you talking about? Pac has been hit by plenty of weight drained, past prime, old, shot fighters and took it quite well.

I think you watch too much of Floyd's fights re-runs that you completely forgot to watch some of Manny's classic fights...

Though most felt Mayweather beat Baldomir easily after 12 rounds, his pinpoint barrage on his opponent’s cement head did more damage to his own right hand than it did the Argentine’s cranium.

“People don’t know how close we came to ending the fight,” said Leonard Ellerbee, who worked Mayweather’s corner on Saturday night.

              warrior!

Do you think he made eye contact with them after the knockdown before he made the decision that he didnt want to continue to fight?

I wonder if Mr. and Mrs. Pacquiao we're watching from home at the Philippines. Is it a stretch to say that their son (who they taught to always keep fighting and never give up) let them down that night?
Manny never had an amateur career, those KO's happened when Manny was very young, those where his formative years, the 1st with Torrecampo he was a ****** teenager then that doesn't know yet how to react to a flush shot, the 2nd was with Singsurat where he was forced to fight heavily dehydrated because his body is growing bigger and cannot handle anymore the flyweight limit, Manny lost the belt at the weighing scale, he lost it even before the actual fight happened. His handlers even said that he doesn't really need to continue with the fight since they lost the belt already, but the WARRIOR in Manny said otherwise, Manny said 'he has to continue because the boxing fans already paid for the tickets and he has to give them a fight even if he looses'. If that's not a warrior to you, i don't know what it is......

There's no point in wallowing over past failures. Either you improve or drill yourself a bigger hole.

As far as I know, one fighter has continued to grow mentally and as a human being. The other just continues to dig himself a grave.
