"High guard" or "Peek-a-Boo" it's all good.

I'm a Clottey fan but sometimes he's frustrating to watch - low punch output. He has the power to KO people. Must throw a lot of punches for high probability of KO and/or decision win.

clottey's issue is that he doesnt like to initiate contact. hes a counter puncher. the problem with being a counter puncher who uses a high guard is your opponent doesnt always open up because they have very little to attack. forthermore, with a high guard, if u arent attacking, u arent feinting and u arent setting traps. all of that means ur opponent isnt attacking and even if he is, u arent responding fast enough to hit back, which leads to a lower output. hes a very incomplete counterpuncher when compared to guys like floyd and jmm.
