Kevin Mitchell arrested

According to the Sun tabloid, lightweight Kevin Mitchell (31-1, 23 KOs) and his mother were arrested at their family home in London on su****ion of possessing ******* and running a cannabis farm.
Frank Warren Promotions has issued the following statement: “Kevin Mitchell has been arrested and released on Police bail, but has not been charged. Kevin Mitchell denies all charges, but has been asked to report back to Dagenham Police Station in June. His fight against John Murray is still due to take place in the summer, and a date will be announced shortly.”

There is no way Mitchell can prepare properly with all the pressure the drugs case will bring. He has not fought since losing against Katsidis and Murray is no push over. If the drugs case is not dropped quickly he needs to pull out of the fight.
