It won't be competitive, the fight would be over QUICKLY, less than 5 rounds, and this is coming from a Juan Marquez fan.

Regardless of Manny being comfortable at 147, it still doesn't change the fact that they picked at Floyd for fighting him at 144..It doesn't!!! Therefore since Manny should go down to 135 to fight Floyd..

If not, this would be the 2nd time that Team Pac has been hypocrites..
1ST. They say Mosley is a old man, and they they fight him.
2ND. They say Mayweather beat a BLOATED Marquez and they want him at a bigger weight than that...

And I don't even think all the blame can go to Manny, its Bob Arum & Freddie Roach that are doing this. I think Manny would fight anyone anyhow, but it's Freddie and Roach.

So I don't blame money, I just want everyone to be treated fairly.

Just like if they gave Mayweather props for beating Mosley, they should also give Manny props for beating Mosley.

That is not the point though, someone has to give these young & upcomer fights there chance, just like someone had to give Mayweather, Pacquiao, Roy Jones, and many others there chance to shine.

So the big dudes in Boxing, Mayweather, Marquez, Cotto, Martinez, should be willing to fight this young dudes. Becuz im telling you right now, if Delahoya wouldn't have gave Shane or Mayweather the chance, they would be as big as they are now.

Hey, I have no problem with Pac fighting him at 147 if JMM wants to do it then who am I to beef about it? Just like Marquez wanted Floyd and moved up to fight him. You have to admit that Pac fans and supporters were the ones giving Floyd $H!T for fighting Marquez at a 144 catchweight and coming in most likely 146/147. Now possibly Pac will fight him and it is ok when Floyd did it prior? If Pac fans are not going to give Pac $H!T for fighting Marquez at 147, then leave the Floyd/Marquez fight prior alone. Same with Shane Mosley because basically Pac is following in the footsteps of floyd, instead of making his own statement, he wants to outdo Floyd by beating Floyd's past opponents prior, to better Floyd? How can that be possible when Floyd fought and beat them first? With exception to JMM. Anyways, good luck to Marquez.

Marquez's trainer Nacho Beristain is not concerned with a possible welterweight limit. He stated in a recent interview that Pacquiao always weighs in well below the limit of 147 and the two boxers would be around the same weight on the day of the fight.

"Fighting at welterweight is not a problem because both of them would be at the same weight on the same day of the fight," Beristain said.

yah i think it so but i also think this young guys most fight each other or prove themselves that theyre worth a shot with pacman and floyd..i think ortiz has potential but i need to see him fight 1 or 2 fight against good fighters..then pac or floyd would be next..

Manny can change his training preparation, come in heavier, and batter the much smaller Marquez around the ring.

Marquez would jump two divisions and fight with one hand tied behind his back if he had too..... but if he asked for OST's, the fight would be cancelled.
