The Best Of Enemies debacle means Sky can't afford another poor quality fight on PPV (same reason why Khan-McCloskey was taken off Box Office), while Haye can't afford to lose Sky's backing.Comment

Actually, Sky did pressure Haye into this fight. It's fairly common knowledge that Haye was looking at the like of Chagaev and Povetkin until Sky took his date away and insisted on the Klitschko fight.

why make up lies?
The reason Khan vs Mccloskey was taken off air was due to the undercard fights being called up
so again
why make up lies?
haye was not looking to fight them, after wlad refused to fight him the first time, yes he started negotiated with them, then wlad suddenly found the balls he lost and gave haye some ****** demands which haye has met
why make up lies?Comment

Haye is overrated, how can a guy who nearly everyone thinks will lose on here is overrated, he is underrated
Mark my words Haye is sending wlad to sleep, I aint a huge haye fan but i dont judge fight on who I like or hate, wlad is simply not on Hayes levelComment

Sky did not pressure into anything, Sky simply said they will not show two ppv near each other and already guaranteed Khan the spot

How many regular people (non boxing fans) have you spoken to who bought Haye-Harrison? I've spoken to a number of them and all were massively disappointed and felt misled by the promotional build-up for that fight. Sky knows all about the public reaction to that fight.
Again, Sky's reason for taking the date from Haye is acknowledged throughout the industry. Haye wanted to spin the money-train out with other guys before going up against either Klitschko and Sky don't want to risk putting him on PPV again against anything less than the two main men in the division.
No lies in any of that.
Accept it, don't accept it. Not my problem.Comment

Hey Tunney

There have been a ton of dumbass Englishmen on this forum over the last 3 years saying exactly what you're saying, "Wlad's going to sleep", "Haye will decapitate Wlad", "Haye's bringing sexyback", "speed and power", "Hayemaker, baby!",
You're just the latest.
I was a longtime supporter of Haye when he entered the heavyweight division. I'm not predisposed to support Wladimir. I respect Wladimir more than I anticipate his fights; although I can enjoy watching Wlad, my preference is to watch his brother. Wlad will likely KO Haye, though, and I'll be rooting for it because Haye deserves it and Wladimir is the better man and the superior heavyweight.
Tunney? Oh, wow.Comment

Khan-McCloskey was taken off Box Office because Sky couldn't guarantee a worthy card, period. And the Haye-Harrison ****storm has made Sky wary of putting events on PPV that don't offer value for money. That's known in the industry.

ok tunney, what ever makes you feel good
you know f all about sky and their thinking
stop with the ****** guesswork kid, you are so far off the mark, go on some lame as klit forum and make up these lies, they will probably give you naked pictures of the brothers as a reward
the reason haye was not given an earlier ppv date was because they wont put two ppv near each other, thats the damn reason, make up whatever you want to twist it but that is the bottom lineComment

So you said something else at why khan was taken off at ppv, i then educated your silly ass, you then tried to spin it and pretend you were saying that all along?

I said that the Khan-McCloskey fight was taken off Box Office because Sky SPorts are highly wary of being associated with putting cr*ppy fights/events on PPV. Without Fury-Rahman and other solid undercard fights, Khan-McCloskey simply wasn't strong enough to support a PPV; that's what I implied at the start and that's what I implied in my follow-up.
Sky's wariness is a direct knock-on consequence of the Haye-Harrison debacle. You didn't "educate" me on anything and I don't need to spin anything, because you're a barely-out-of-his-adolescence cheerleading goon. None of it requires guesswork because it's acknowledged throughout the sport among people who don't have David Haye's nuts wedged in their mouths. The only one spinning anything is you, ie. Haye's lame heavyweight campaign.
LOLOL, how emotionally involved with Haye must you be to overreact with petty insults and polemic when someone is speaking to you civilly? And you're claiming not to like Haye or that you're not his fan?Comment
