Its verry important that there will be a neutral refferee who dont let Ward get away with dirty tactics and to much holding. So i can understand Sauerlands issues. Maybe he was just missinformed. But i think we all now that Ward is the big favorite in this anyway. I just hope Abraham lands a huge lucky punch! You can never write a huge puncher off. Froch think Abraham will beat Ward because he has bricks in his hands or something like that. But even I as a Arthur fan doubt that he will win.

It would be strange for Sauerland to make such a statement over nothing. Because you would think that unless he was correct, he could easily be proven wrong.

Never thought id actually want a German ref.... AA has a very slim either way. But at least with a ref that's not going to ward do what he does we can actually get a fair and maybe even entertaining fight.

Apparently both, Ward and AA are rather short on words. No trash talk, no fuss. Likewise both don't seem to catch the public's eye remarkably. Hence other means are necessary to promote the fight for the public. A controversy about opinions can easily be stirred as seen in this forum. Therefore the only reasonable explanation is a media ploy.

How otherwise can one create awareness for consistently unknown or only locally known fighters. Ward has no fanbase and AA has just fought losing to Dirrell. The fight against Miranda is already lost in people's minds.
