Don't be so sure about that BS....... sometimes half the battle of winning is convincing yourself that you can do it. In his Haye's mind.. he's already decapitated Klitschko in his head many times over & the bragging & bravado that he's doing is reinforcing the belief he's got the speed to avoid Wlad & the power to get to him.
Haye despite including Vitali in the proceedings (just to make it look like he's NOT just picking on Wlad) for all intents & purposes has NOT had any of these type of forecasts with Vitali... he might throw in a little jab here or there on VITALI BUT it's mostly in unison with both Klitschko's as a whole. He's been in the vicinity of Vitali at least 3 times in the pastg few years & KNOWS for a fact Vitali is meaner & has a little bit of crazy in him that makes him nervous & fearful of.
Wlad's calm demeanor feeds right into his hands.. he knows he can unravel him.. he's practically called him a ***** to the entire boxing world. Wlad is steaming inside & has to control the urge to fight angry & stay composed. Haye wants Wlad to fight angry as that just feeds into his gameplan & make KLITSCHKO MORE vulnerable to making mistakes
With Vitali.. he cvan't intimidate either way because Vitali is mean regardless of what HAYE does & ALWAYS fights composed & sure of himself regardless aof the amount of disdain for his opponent..... for such a mean temperament.. Vitali rarely shows it in his demeanor in the ring.
Foreman was similar in regards to being calm despite the burning desire to knock you out at any point in the fight. It's the real tough & confident strong men that are rarely fazed by there opponents.
I think Wlad is fazed.... how can he not be..... haye has done a number on him like Ali did vs Liston & Frazier.. although Frazier did use it for motivation.. he was still bothered by the disrespect.
Haye has dictated to Wlad HOW IT'S GOING TO GO DOWN & wLAD has let him do it ever since he crashed one of his press releases & got in his face.
Wlad knows this is one of the few times an opponent will NOT be scared of him & you can bet that's heavily on his mind. He doesn't know what to expect.. he doesn't know how fast & powerful Haye really is... trust me the psychological advantage lays with HAYE.
Tarver all those years knew & had the same type of self belief that he coould beat RJJ & CALLED him out right after he beat Ruiz...... look what TARVER did to him.... when you're perceived to be on top of your game & someone comes along & calls you out & gets in your face while doing so... only natural to question your game.
Self belief is one of the most prized possessions a fighter can have... not just talk to convince others of it.... but if you've actually convinced yoourself... all i got to say is watch out Wlad.
