Gary Shaw Promotions "Bradley is not accepting 1.3 million"

The Khan fans on this board not only believe he should get paid twice as much as Bradley but they would also believe he would deserve a 50-50 split against Mayweather.
That's how completely out of touch with reality they are on their miserable little island.Comment

“King” on board, Californian wants to negotiate
The much-anticipated light-welterweight match-up between Britains’ WBA champion Amir Khan and America’s WBC and WBO titleholder Timothy Bradley is close to completion. It is rumoured that terms between the two fighters over a July 23rd showdown are almost agreed and just an improved offer to Bradley will seal the fight.
Khan, 24, is somewhat famous for his opponents complaining about the terms they are offered and it seems even a two-belt world champion has issues with the contract put to him. The 27 year-old unified champion is already pencilled in for the summer date and promoter Gary Shaw may sign his fighter up for a defence of his titles, if he and Khan Promotions cannot agree terms.
The 2004 Olympic silver medallist has already expressed his delight at agreeing the fight on his side and after his recent bad experience defending his title against Paul McCloskey in his home country, will be relieved to have a fight finalized on foreign soil.
“Desert Storm” Bradley on the other hand is keen to make the fight and it is thought that the problems that have arisen should be ironed out in time for an announcement to be made in the next few days. The bout should take place in California or Las Vegas, with the winner standing to gain all three world title belts.Comment

"1.3 is a lot of Money"
Dont you love it when broke dudes try to count others peoples money.
Bottom lione he will sign when it benefits him. If he jumps on the first offer he is a fool. He knows how much he is worth, thats why he holding out for more money. Also his contract is almost up with shaw. who knows if sure is trying to get him to resign under the contract him. And He shouldnt either.
Also lets cut the bull**** about Kahn being a big Draw HERE IN THE US of A.Comment

Dont you just love it when African Americans come out to defend a fellow overhyped and overprotected African American boxer? I mean honestly? Who has Bradley beaten? How many PPVs has he sold? What venues has he sold out? He aint getting a dime of Khans money and will have to fight for the small ammount of money he is worth.
Bradley and Khan have sold the same amount of PPV's in the USA. Zero. Which is the only PPV market that counts when discussing the topic.
Khan's PPV's in England sell for 1/3 the price of an American PPV broadcast and if Brits were forced to pay 50 pounds to watch his fights nobody would tune in to watch him run around the ring doing his best impression of Paula Radcliffe.Comment
