Guys like Juarez who made easily over 2 million during his career if they didn't waste and make bad investments and don't have to pay child surport or get divorced, should be set, living a very comfortable lifestyle.

augustus never made a low 6 figure fight,

he's probably working comfortably (by that I mean probably owns his home outright and has some nice things), unless he partied it away.

Juarez has plenty dough. So does Kats. Those guys don't piss money away I hear.

Unless a boxer goes to school what is he going to do be a Trainer, Personel trainer or a janitor. The sad thing is many boxers don't go to school while their boxers. I know Armando Muniz did and he told me that many mangers or trainers said you can't do both. He told them watch I will. He's a director at Rubidox youth activities center in Rubidox California a small city next to Riverside california

Just asked a friend of mine who was close to him and he said that Augustus is still fighting, but maintains his current lifestyle by not fighting for less than $10-12 thousand a fight. So I guess he's fighting when he needs money.

im friends with augustus on facebook and last i saw his profile he was living with some pretty girl in australia it looked like. he seems like an extremely cool dude and ive always been a big fan of his - i saw him live at his supposed "retirement bout" on the bradley/alexander undercard, and he didn't get blown away, but he didn't look like the augustus we've seen in years prior. He doesn't seem like the materialistic type at all, in fact he kinda seems like a wordly, cultured, "nature oriented", almost hippy type of dude. so I imagine he can live just fine off fighting for 10k or so when need be.

i figured juarez probably has a decent nest egg in the bank, maybe not quite enough yet to live completely off interest; same for katsidis.

i just love boxing so much sometimes i get curious about random **** like this lol
