canelo's chin is tucked
and he looks to take a tremendous shot for a 19 year old

the guy gets hit all the time and rarely wobbles
and he's only going to get more durable as he ages unless he starts to pile on miles prematurely (which he will if he fights punchers)


they gotta keep him away from a suble jr mw puncher with a good chin who can go rounds
and a pure cutie / speedster

and they will, at least for now

That's pretty much Ryan Rhodes.

Why they chose Rhodes is beyond me. I actually expect Rhodes to win. Canelo could probably knock Rhodes out too, though. Could be a classic.

Yes he is OVERHYPED as well! Right now he would get destroyed by any of the TOP FIGHTERS IN HIS DIVISION and GBP knows that which is why they are feeding him Washed Up LOWER LEVEL FIGHTERS.

But he does have excellent POTENTIAL and could eventually develop into a great fighter, but he is probably a good 2 years away. That WBC Belt was basically a GIFT!

Does anyone else see Canelo as a ko waiting to happen? I like his power and fighting style like I do Juanma's but i think when he steps up to a puncher around his size he gets stopped. I still think both Juanma and Canelo will have solid careers but will never live up to the hype.

if he was to get ko'd, it be better happening now that his young than later when hes pushing 30. cause he learn from his mistakes and comeback stronger, like khan and ortiz.

I like Saul/Canelo, he's disciplined and has the fundamentals, the punch, footwork, everything. But I hope he isn't being rushed. Not sure if he can take all the best opposition at 154 yet.
