What can we expect if Shane pulls it out???

The upset birds have been lurking lately and it gets me wondering...

What would this do for Pac's legacy? Would a fight with Floyd still make sense?

Would Shane benefit from Pacman's recent success with a victory or would people still look at him as ole Shane??

More importantly, would a Pac loss hurt boxing as he is one of the two cash cows in the sport? I for one don't think a Pac loss would bode to well for boxing..

The bold just doesn't seem logical to me.After all putting fights on ppv when everyone already knows the outcome before hand is hurting the sport more than losing a cashcow.For example,Ortiz-Berto was a tremendous action fight without a hefty ppv bill.Cottey & Margarito vs Pacmanwas a 1 sided beat down both times.Just like we knew they were gonna be.(Well I can't lie,I thought that Clottey was gonna get his head out his a$$ & realize that that was absolutely his biggest chance to shine).But true to form,Clottey managed to **** that all up,like he normally does.

If Shane beats Pac, then Pac's reputation/legacy would be hit hard. I mean harder than a teen on viagra seeing **** for his first time. That's the risk Pac "took" for taking an much older fighter. As for boxing, just need sum more new blood....the sports will survive and rebuild.

it would prove pac is a complete bum and his career was a gigantic fraud. i think we can safely say if he doesn't knock out mosley in less than 3 rounds mayweather is the greatest of all time.

It depends. If Shane dominates Pac( a la Margarito) , it would definitely hurt his legacy. Now , if Pac is winning the fight easily then Shane lands some lucky shot and somehow knocks Pac out , it wouldnt have the same impact.

It would hurt his standing at 147 pretty badly but he was really never going get high on that list anyway but it would not hurt him in terms of his work in lower classes.
