    Adamek-Dawson rematch at CW?

How would it go and what do u think of it?? Can it happen? I hope it will and I think it should, coz Dawson is the only man to defeat Adamek and Adamek should get a chance to avenge that defeat. He can likely make the 200 limit without problems still.

If he can make the weight, which he probably can, I'd like to see this fight. Think Adamek could stop him in the rematch.

Dawson beats him the same way I think and hopefully Dawson doesn't move up for another 5+ yyears Dawson is already so big I can't see him coming back down if he moves up in weight. I think if he stops being so danm inactive their are a lot of great matchups for him now and in the future

Dawson on points again, easy for Adamek to look good against a bunch of over weight slow pokes who he can dart in and out against with ease but he is not improved at all from the time of that loss.

            I'm not sure about that...

Adamek improved since he trains in the USA.

I think, just like Ortiz, Adamek killed himself to make weight in a division where he didn't belong.
            Adamek was sloppy at 175.
Obviously Adamek was too big to be a LHW, and I remember he dropped and hurt Chad.

Adamek would probably destroy Dawson at CW...

Yea, I agree. 200 was Adamek's best weight.

Yes, Adamek was struggling to make Light-Heavyweight and it obviously affected him during the fight. He dropped Dawson later in the fight, but from what I remember Dawson was straight back up and recovered quickly, so Dawson does have a decent chin on him.

At CW Adamek is much stronger and his punches carry more heat. I like Dawson and would love to see him fight the winner of Pascal/Hopkins II and obviously he won't be moving up until business is concluded at 175.

Adamek looked awful in that fight, and that can't just be put that down to a difference in skill levels between the two fighters. It was almost as if he wasn't even trying. Even when he had openings early in the fight he wouldn't take them. Very uncharacteristic. Straight after that fight he moved up and has never looked back.

Being weight drained is one of the most common excuses a fighter can have for losing (not that I recall if Adamek ever mentioned this), but I think it was very legitimate in this case. As for who'd win a rematch, I picked Adamek for the simple fact that he's had several fights now to grow into his weight. He'd also have a significant strength advantage over Dawson, and his one-hit power would be very evident in this fight (don't forget, Adamek was a monster puncher at CW).
