This arbitrary 'prime'/'green'/'shot' terminology hardly tells the full story. Just because one fighter is green or shot doesn't necessarily mean they aren't better than another who is apparently in his prime.

IIRC, Salita was only top ten in one of the sanctioning body's rankings, which I think Cherry and Campbell were also.

Khan may well go on to beat Timmy but his CV is a bit behind as things stand.

Let's take a look at the light welterweights Bradley has fought since becoming world champion:

              Junior Witter - Past prime
Edner Cherry - Prime but not top 10
Kendall Holt - Prime and top 10
Nate Campbell - Lightweight and past prime
              Lamont Peterson - Green
              Devon Alexander - Green

              Now...

How many light welterweights has Khan fought, who were 1- in their prime and 2- ranked in the top 10?

Let's take a look at the light welterweights Khan has fought since moving up to 140:

Andriy Kotelnik - Prime and top 10
Dmitriy Salita - A bum. But he was in his prime and ranked in the top 10.
Paulie Malignaggi - Prime and top 10
Marcos Maidana - Prime and top 10
Paul McCloskey - Prime and top 10
Witter was past his prime??Witter was the num 1 Jr WW behind Hatton who was the Champ..Fail..

Cherry prime dangerous fight who was dominated..

Holt beast big puncher and prime..

Peterson was green but that was Bradleys toughest fight imo soo Ill give him credit for it..

Devon unified champ far from green, this with the Witter win alone dominates Khans resume..

No need to break down Khans resume cause plain and simple its the weaker of the two..Dude has one puncher and one champion threwout his whole resume..Therad is a fail sorry Wazaa try again..

                Khan beats Bradley
                but Bradley is no deception
his wins at 140 are better than Khan's
