Paulie has not been the same since the Cotto beat down be honest..

We can break down both opponents all day long but why not we just stick to the facts..Bradley unified the belts twice and has fought more Champions..Bradley has fought more diverse opponents..And beat more highly ranked oponents,an is ranked num1 at the weightclass..His resume is better based on facts how's that better for you??
Roy was already passed it before the Tarver fight.

Amir wasn't even thinking of fighting Devon? Like Roach said it himself way before the Kotelnik fight. "I'm not impressed with Alexander. Who is Alexander? Who did he beat?" He turned out to be right.

So youre saying that paulie hasnt been the same since the Cotto beatdown? But Paulie dominated Cherry AFTER the Cotto fight....

But yeah, let's give it a rest. I can't convince you anyway, you Bradley nuthugger.

            All of it, really.
Nah, I'm with waz. I hear a guy saying his piece, saying that he won every round (he did), then some guys butting in and Amir standing his ground and making some assertive statements ("He would've been knocked out") over the heckling.

And he said "we were hurting him", not 'I would've hurt him', which is Roach talk.

The stuff about having bigger fights ahead, and McCloskey not deserving another crack until he's beaten some other top guys in the division, is 100% legitimate. Especially with the Matchroom peeps breathing down his neck and screaming for another crack.

Khan knew there was acrimony from the Matchroom side coming into the presser, anyway. He's always been known for graciousness toward his opponents after fights (look how he treated Maidana, even after Maidana disregarded him as some English pig and showed no sportsmanship throughout their fight), so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he came into this one on a hair-trigger. Or as close as Amir ever gets to an angry outburst.

If anything, LOL @ McCloskey's side talking about Khan being out on his feet against Maidana. Anyone would think McCloskey had done it.

I don't disagree that there are too many hangers-on in the Khan camp. But I don't think Khan is detached from reality like, say, Nazzy became. Although, the media seems determined to cause the same problems and stoke up the same bad feeling for him as they did for Hamed.

I liked Amir in the post-fight conference. He seemed a bit spikier and less image conscious.

Then again almost all of my favourite boxers are arseholes.

It's personal taste, I guess. I didn't like it. Steve Bunce said he went to see Khan after the fight and he was respectful in the changing room but between there and the press con he turned a bit.

There is no need for a rematch. Khan really is much better McCloskey.

I just think it is so easy for Khan to diffuse the situation by showing more respect to McCloskey. He just wrote him off, which is wrong, in my eyes.

                  I see what you're saying.

And it's true; both these guys will be the best thing on each-others' records after this fight.

Let's take a look at the light welterweights Bradley has fought since becoming world champion:

                      Junior Witter - Past prime
Edner Cherry - Prime but not top 10
Kendall Holt - Prime and top 10
Nate Campbell - Lightweight and past prime
                      Lamont Peterson - Green
                      Devon Alexander - Green

How many light welterweights has Khan fought, who were 1- in their prime and 2- ranked in the top 10?

Let's take a look at the light welterweights Khan has fought since moving up to 140:

Andriy Kotelnik - Prime and top 10
Dmitriy Salita - A bum. But he was in his prime and ranked in the top 10.
Paulie Malignaggi - Prime and top 10
Marcos Maidana - Prime and top 10
Paul McCloskey - Prime and top 10
Kotelnik, Salita, Maignaggi, McCloskey...all light punchers. Khan was almost forced to fight Maidana and he wobbled to victory.

Khan is probably banking on Bradley's KO record and is going to get suprised. Bradley is the better fighter, Khan's last fight he looked like a fast amateur all over again
