I hope Perez picks himself up

I sincerely do. I feel kinda sorry for the guy, but the better guy won last night. I hope he doesn't floor it now and lose motivation, for he's still a good boxer. I wish him best of luck in future. Maybe, after he beats Mares and if Donaire doesn't agree to fight him, Vic can give him a rematch. But I think Vic showed his style doesn't suit Perez. He's all wrong for him as opponent. So maybe he should concentrate on a rematch with Mares and maybe a third fight with Agbeko. I just hope he'll get the opportunity.

he's had a lot of tough fights in a row - Darchinyan, Agbeko, Mares, Agbeko. That's a lot to ask for.

I think he should take some time off, rest, then fight a lower level guy or two. He deserves an easy fight.

Yea well, I didn't mean he should fight Mares and Agbeko INSTANTLY. He should take a break, but not too long a break, first have a tuneup and then fight one of them.

I think he should rest and move up to 122 and get easy fight to regain his confidence.

He looks like a different fighter since after the first Agbeko fight. He needs a break from tough fights for now but even with that he may never be the same.

His activity seems to have went down the tubes. He is a completely different fighter and usually when you lose the punch count, you lose everything in this sport. Don't expect to see much from Perez. Maybe he gets one more big tv fight, losses and then it's retirement or local shows.

I hope that's all he needs. I became a fan after the way he went to war and beat Agbeko. He has been a little worse with every fight after. I'd hate it if this streak of fights did him in.

Vic was laying it on him i was surprised at how strong Vic came out. I felt the fight may have been able to continue but Perez looked very discouraged. Head butts ***n suckk! §hit, Cotto's cut was horrible against Clottey and he kept going strong...

I agree, he does everything for his family in Colombia. The loss yesterday was definitely tough on him.
