The early rounds were even you admit that in your own statement. You won by ko and finished strong there was nothing wrong with the scorecards up to that point. If Salido was down a round or 2 then he might have a valid claim here.

To be on the safe side Salido should make Juanma fight him in Mexico for the rematch.

Thats obviously what this is about. Salido earned the right to have the rematch in Mexico but to say those scorecards were ridiculous in any way is just off base.

That is exactly what I told my friend who was watching the fight with me.

I told him, if the fight goes the distance, no matter how badly Salido dominates Lopez, he will not get the decision.

I've seen it happen too many times and there is no reason and no recent fight that leads me to believe a visiting fighter will get a fair shake and gets the nod in a fighters hometown. It just hasn't happened in a while.

Ok but was the fight scored badly up to that point?

The fight should be in Mexico.. purely to save the boy Lopez the shame of being Koed infront of his people and to protect Salido from his idiot fans telling him he is gonna get ktfo

Puerto Rico is one of those places, where you have to get the KO to win if you're an outsider fighting a top fighter. Thankfully it didn't go to the scorecard.

So you think the scorecards were off at that point? If anything there was an early stoppage in the fight with the hometown ref.

Judges have been known to use white out, for who knows what reason, at the end of fights, to change scores.

Most recently, I forgot which fight was it that one of the judges scorecard had white out over a couple of rounds. But seeing things like that, makes you paranoid about every fight that is not on neutral soil.
