i like perez but he should hav moved more and countered, or targetted vics balls like mares did, that would hav slowed vic down. vic was punishing him, a good get out for perez ,he would have got seriously hurt in later rounds, yonney will b back, bigger and better. vic went straight to champion fights in bantam division ,hes now getting used to the heavier weight and will get stronger.

Anybody who says Vic darchynian doesn't have power at 118 must be insane. Of course he's not knocking out guys like he did at 112 and 115 but Yohnny Perez had two fights with Agbeko and one with Mares and nobody has hurt him the way Vic did tonight. The people who are questioning Perez's heart must've never put on a pair of gloves cause Yohnny took some vicious shots and and kept going forward. Is not his fault he got headbutted and the doctor stopped the fight. Perez's corner must be a amateur one cause he was making a tactical mistake from round one and was never corrected, he was moving to his right into Vic's power instead of to his left and away from his left hand. Too bad a great fight like this one was stopped like that. Yohnny Perez is 31, coming of two losses in a row and I wonder if he can bounce back, I hope so cause he's a very good fighter...

I don't know if Perez never recovered from the first hard shot that Darchinyan landed in the 1st round or if training in his native Colombia didn't go that well cause threw out the most of the fight he looked tense, with NO defense & most of his shots looked more like arm punches..Perez did show to have one hell of a jaw, cause he was eating most of the straight lefts & uppers that Darchinyan was throwing & they were landing hard & even thou he was wobbled & even went down once, he kept fighting back!! Perez did start the 3rd round very well landing his best shots, but they didn't faze Darchinyan & at the end of the round it was Darchinyan taking over again..I would like to see Darchinyan against Mares again & he did give Mares all he could handle & by the way he looked tonight he definitely deserves another shot at Mares..

Vic indeed landed some powerful punches, but sadly the accidental headbutt ended a good fight. however, initially Perez didn't want to continue the fight when referee urged him to continue and referee didn't see the blood immediately after the headbutt, before the doctor stopped the fight in Perez's favor. the blood was gushing from Perez's forehead. there's no way they could stop that blood.
guys vote for Pacquiao vs Mayweather fight to happen! who knows one day it might occur.

Am I the only one who noticed that Vic cheated the entire fight. He was sticking out his right hand and leaving it out there which is illegal. You are not allowed to measure your opponent, you need to bring that hand back. And, he was elbowing and constantly pushing Perez off with his shoulder. I felt he completely cheated because it seemed the only time Vic landed any telling blows was when he was measuring his opponent. If I were fighting him, everytime he stuck out that right hand I would have slapped it down with my left and thrown the straight right. After a few of those, Vic wouldn't have done it anymore. And although Vic may have won anyway, he only wins when he is allowed to cheat. He even said the reason he lost to Mares was because he wasn't allowed to fight his fight, which he wasn't allowed to measure which is a blatant illegal move. Someone needs to knock this b*tch out once and for all..

And I guess Mares low-blowing Vic throughout the fight is legal, too.
