I'm not actually that impressed with the Berto win. He overwhelmed him and we've never seen Berto have to fight in the trenches. Except against Collazo (a fellow southpaw - but who doesn't hit as hard) and many felt he shouldn't of won. The only other people he'd been the distance with were Urango and Forbes for christ sake...

Sccccchit, people saw Ortiz's Maidana and Lamont fights and failed to realise the demands of making weight. I credit him with taking the fight but i'm not in love with him now like everyone else.

he really hasn't said anything besides excuses about the maidana fight though. if he really wanted to be "vicious" he'd accept the loss and pursue maidana for a rematch, promise murders, shit like that. he's been a sore bitch since the berto win.

It was true back then, he got a title shot against Khan instead, now though the rematch makes sense because there would be a World Title for Maidana if he beats Ortiz again.

I'm just not sure if Maidana wants to go up in weight.

After his recent victory Ortiz is getting carried away. Anyone else think Ortiz needs to pipe down? I'm beginning to slowly lose respect for Ortiz because of this.

Give the guy a break he just got a huge win when most ppl wrote him off as a quitter who wouldn't be more than a gatekeeper at best if he stuck around.
