  • Has anybody seen Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero fight?

In recent months I have read so much about Featherweight prospect Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero. He is reportedly a lanky fighter who has excellent defense, fights from the outside but packs a good wallop. That's a pretty mean combination! He has 9 stoppages in 16 wins and no loss. Not a spectacular KO rate because, it is said, he didn't get to learn how to kick-off power punches until recently, so most of his earlier fights went the full distances.

Has anyone here seen him fight? How good is he, really? Does he have an exciting style? (SRLeonard mostly stayed on the outside but was pretty exciting)

Is he the future of the Featherweight- SuperFeatherweight-Lightweight Divisions?

He will move on to a title fight early next year, it was said.

Any chance that he could make what is an already exciting cluster of weight classes, even more exciting? Perhaps, be counted as nemesis of Pac, Barrera, Marquez, and, even Morales, if Il Terrible stays at or around the weight categories?

I've seen him fight twice. It was either on ESPN or Fox. He's an impressive young fighter, but they're still matching him soft, so it's early to tell if he's the future of anything, but he's definitely got the tools in the box.

I've only seen one of his fights. That was against Enrique Sanchez. He is a decent fighter yes.

Yeah, he's pretty good, I'm not completely sold on his "power" though. He still gets a little sloppy sometimes and he can be a little dirty as well, guess we'll se with time.

He has also fought on Shobox before. He will be moved up in the near future and take on some of the top 15 fringe contenders in televised fights.

As far as I know, he has been heavily favored in every fight he has been in.

Another 126 prospect I have seen is Litzau, but Guererro looks to be a bigger and stronger guy with better technique.
