But the thing about that Toney-Jones fight was that Toney was a shadow of his usual self because his mind was elsewhere due to personal problems, and he had to starve himself for weeks to make weight. It was known a week before the fight that Toney couldn't win.
I sick of all the P4P stuff nowadays, it irritates me and it doesn't mean anything.

              hmm

Oh please do stop spouting the bull****. It was not "known" that Toney was gonna lose, and that is a straight up lie. Most picked Toney to win, and Toney had problems making weight many times in his career and still won handily. Jones won EVERY round from Toney and even the few times when Toney landed cleanly on Jones' noggin it didn't seem to faze him much.

Blaming Jones and taking away from Jones for Toney's problems is the obvious sign of a hater.

Besides, some would argue Jones' best performance/win was vs Ruiz.

Hearns best win was against Leonard in the rematch btw.
Leonard's best win was his 1st vs Hearns.
Hagler's best win was vs Hearns.
Ali's best win was clearly vs Foreman.
Eubank's best win was versus Benn.
              For Benn, it was G-man.
For Lewis, it was old Holyfield.
              For Naseem...Kelly.
Toney's best win was vs Jirov. Jirov was a beast and look what Toney did to him. Permanently messed him up.
