I remember when this happened, Teon Kennedy was devastated. It was so bad that Teon's family were talking to the news instead of Teon cause he thought he had killed him.
I didn't know that Rodriguez organs were donated, unbelievable story.
I didn't see it yet, gonna check it now. There's lots of tragedies in boxing.
I heard a recent interview with a guy who use to drive around George Chuvalo (arguably the best chin in boxing). Chuvalo's first son committed suicide, his second son died of a drug overdose, his wife then committed suicide as a reaction.
He spent a year going around the country to schools where he would get down on his knees and speak to kids about the dangers of drugs. Pretty deep story.
That guy was never knocked down in 93 heavyweight fights, including against Muhammad Ali (twice), George Foreman and Joe Frazier.
W0W I never really cry from movies or inspirational shows like this but I honestly do not know if any human can watch that without shedding a tear. RIP Paco Hernandez you will always be a CHAMPION.
