he looked very muscular before so maybe he was already lifting a lot. all he had to do was just lift a little more i guess.

Ortiz has always been big (compared to jww and ww), if I remember correctly he started his career in Middleweight

He was killing himself to make the weight (140). 147 is much closer to his desired weight. Hell I think he's a little to big for 147.
