It actually isn't that bad, there are a couple sleepers that can make for some potentially interesting fights.
First we have the solid champion in Sergio Martinez. P4P #3, the last guy to reach that was B-Hop.
Now for contenders:
Daniel Geale just knocked out Roman Karmazin and is getting a title shot against Sebastian Sylvester
Felix Sturm is finally taking on a good opponent in Matthew Macklin and that one looks to be a toss-up.
Dmitry Pirog looks like he could be a rising star in the division if he gets the right fights.
Andy Lee has the backing of Emmanuel Steward and must be decent enough for the legendary trainer to have confidence in him.
The winner of Zbik-Chavez Jr. will also emerge as a somewhat legitimate contender.
Danny Jacobs and David Lemieux are kinda like the Victor Ortiz post-Maidana of the division-men with great upsides but get KO'd in embarassing fashion and everyone now has them written off.
And let's not sleep on undefeated french fighter Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam and undefeated german Gennady Golovkin.
The division may not be as exciting as Pavlik-Abraham-Taylor-Miranda only a few years ago but it could be worse (the current cruiserweight division for example)
