but we knew duddy was a dud going into the chavez fight. he got beat to a pulp by yory boy campos and walid smichet and got iffy decisions. he lost to billy lyell. jacobs looked like and still might be a genuinely good boxer/puncher. a win over ishe smith is better than anything duddy has done imo. kofi jantuah has a much better resume than duddy anyway. knockout wins over daniel santos and rubio and going the distance with ouma and abraham.

Good point, Pirog's resume' is arguably better, and I do agree with ny123.

Jacobs could still turn out to be a much better fighter than Duddy ever was.

Still, a Chavez/Pirog fight would be a much closer matchup, and likely a much better fight, than if that party-spoiling kid Martinez got involved

It is funny that Martinez was blasted for not fighting Pirog, but then blasted for calling out Chavez..... because there is little difference between those two.

i said arguably better. jacobs is cool, im a fan. thing is duddy, while not the better fighter, had the better resume going into their fights. jacobs didnt have the experience over duddy either.

Do you think Duddy beats Jacobs? Im not sure about that one but i would have Jacobs winning and Pirog does have Kofi Jantuah on his resume.

hell no. but i dont think thats quite my point. think about it. maciel was pirogs last opponent. chavez jr. is going into a fight with zibik. martinez after the winner. at that point if he were to fight chavez jr. i dont see how u can argue pirog (who i definitely believe is the better fighter) has a better resume.

why shouldnt he go after chavez jr?? truth is, on paper jr has better wins than even pirog. but ppl will ignore that of course. lol...jr is a champ, the fight makes money, it makes sense.

Why do you say that when his last 4 opponents are Williams,Pavlik,Williams,Dzinziruk? He has cleaned out all the best in his division and Angulo wanted no part of him. If he was what you think he is there would have been a Manfredo or Chavez in between those 4 fights.
