    2011 Year Of The Upset!

We're just 4 months in to 2011. And Upsets just cant stop happening. There have been so many in this time.

Orlando Salido TKO8 Juan Manuel Lopez
    Victor Ortiz UD Andre Berto
    Nobuhiro Ishida KO1 James Kirkland
    Marco Rubio KO7 David Lemieux
    Bryan Vera SD Sergio Mora
    Takalani Ndlovu UD Steve Molitor
    Carlos Molina Draw Erislandy Lara
    Mauricio Herrera UD Ruslan Provodnikov

How many more will there be in the next 8 months! The more upsets that do happen, I will bump this thread!

I would also add Hernan Marquez TKO11 Luis Concepcion.

I have a feeling alot more are coming aswell. But I wonder who will be pulling them off?

Shane Mosley? Ryan Rhodes? Matthew Macklin? Sebastian Zbik? Arthur Abraham?

So far Kirkland tko ishida and Hernan Marquez TKO11 Luis Concepcion are the 2 biggest. Those fights were clear tuneup/stay busy fights where the fighter had absolutely no chance on paper. The juanma fight was a huge upset as well but I seen a lotta people calling it and salido was much more of a threat on paper then Marquez or ishida was.

              Kirkland - Ishida..

Who the hell saw that coming? lol

except that one guy on nsb..

I still believe he was caught cold and he can bounce back.. he's taken shots from harder punchers and walked through them..

Is Gonzalez's KO win over Hasegawa considered an upset?

Oh yeah and that prospect Marcus Johnson losing to Howard Davis' son was also an upset.

I would agree with that, this has been a good year for fans if you like upsets.
