No they make 'em a lot worse, and i don't mean that in praise of Rickles. I never regarded him as a comedian, never thought him humourous, he never made me laugh. i could never see insults often malicious and DEFINITELY NOT FUNNY, as joking. I always regarded him as a 3rd rater. My idea of a comedian was Myron Cohen, Jackie Mason, even Milton Berle etc. Only Jackie Mason is still around. I had an Uncle who was a funny as any of those guys (on his day) but who stuck to being a pharmacist.

Still there are all kinds of tastes and preferences. I still wish him a long life, until 120.
