That's a lame argument, Floyd has gotten alot of hate long before the drug testing demands. It's 2011 dude...
The Brian Kenny-Manny Pacquiao Interview which everyone seems to have forgotten.....

You'd be a fool to believe Floyd doesn't care about the adoration from the fans and or the public in general. Even in recent interviews he states he can't understand why people won't support an American (speaking about himself). Someone who doesn't care about what people think about you don't mention those things.
The best thing Floyd did for his career was don the hat of "the bad guy" to create an aura around him to sell tickets being fans weren't lining up in truckloads to see him (even in his own hometown). He can say things like "The fans don't pay my bills", but those same fans are the ones who are keeping him relevant. In general, many of Mayweather's fans are envious of Pacquiao's success as proven with a slew of excuses about who he's fought, allegations of him cheating, and the list goes on. Envy is a mutha....Comment

Dude this is boxing, not a homecoming popularity contest. It's a sport and a business. Who cares how many people are in the stands cheering your name, as long as they paid to get in there. The Lakers and the Yankees are the most talked about teams...you know why? Because just as many people want to see them fail as there are that want to see them succeed. You think any of those guys care about fans booing or holding up signs while they're shooting a freethrow or when they walk up to the plate? Stop being so juvenile in your thinking. Floyd's bad guy act has the cash registers ringing and I'm sure he wouldn't trade in his money for a few more cheers. That type of thinking that you're championing reflects just how insecure of a cat you are. I guess if your coworkers don't like you, you switch up what you do at work, huh? You'd be a fool to believe Floyd doesn't care about the adoration from the fans and or the public in general. I'm a big Mayweather fan and I don't envy anything that Pacquiao has done. I'm not even that impressed with the guy, to be honest Pac hasn't impressed me since his win against JMM in 2008. I think Pac's recent success has come from smoke and mirrors as well as watered down opponents to be honest. You'd be a fool to believe Floyd doesn't care about the adoration from the fans and or the public in general. Believe what you'd like, this is coming out of Floyd's mouth, not mine. He's made it very clear about how he feels about the fans cheering for Manny. Again, someone who doesn't care doesn't make mention of such a thing. I also mentioned he put on the bad boy persona to sell tickets. Whether or not he "cares" what the fans think, without them he's nothing, the same goes for Pacquiao or any athlete. It just comes off as a cop out to say "Who cares about the public" when the public is what makes you relevant in the first place.Dude this is boxing, not a homecoming popularity contest. The bottom line still points to this ****** testing as unnecessary. It's a bit*h move and never been demanded in the history of boxing. The overrated boxer had 40 fights without it. Now before you floydiots say that Tyson demanded extra testing, it was not the kind of testing the overrrated boxer demanded. Tyson simply asked the authorities to look into it. The kind of test Holyfield went through was nothing in comparison to what Pacquiao had agreed to initially, which was far and above the current testing rules. This is a fact.
I would have loved to see Pacman call the overrated boxer's bluff right away. I'm absolutely sure the overrated boxer still found a way to weasel out of the fight.
Anyways, whatever you pac haters say, this is all superseded by a new demand by the overrated boxer: $100 million dollars. This is fact and can't be denied. But go ahead and keep repeating this nonsense about who is to blame for entertainment purpose. Mayweather is to blame that is the general assumption.Comment

That sounds more of a bias towards being a Mayweather fan 1st. I'm not a die hard for either guy, but to discredit Pacquiao based on his recent success IMO is just looking for something to hold on to in respect to being a Mayweather fan first. And really, there's nothing wrong with that, just admit it.I'm a big Mayweather fan and I don't envy anything that Pacquiao has done. Yep. Brian Kenny has since made a complete turn around and thinks Floyd Mayweather is ducking Pacquiao.
But let's keep bumping these threads for entertainment purpose.

If it was Floyd fighting fighters of recent beat downs and using catch weights I would say the same thing. What Pac did back in the day was impressive, I'm not so impressed with what he's done now. If he would've beaten Cotto pre Margarito or Margarito pre Mosley I would've given Pac all the credit in the world. Why can't some people realize that not everybody is in awe of Pac? I'm just not that impressed. That sounds more of a bias towards being a Mayweather fan 1st.
