If Manny has had so many wars and is going to age quicker, how come he isn't fighting like his contemporaries, Morales and Barrera? Shouldn't he have rapidly slowed down by now? Or do Ariza's shakes contain the Fountain of Youth?

I love how Manny is Fernando Vargas now. His fans are jokes.

You don't have to be a rocket scientist but you need some education.

Your answer: The boxer who does not take care of his body will be more damaged goods.

Do you think Ricky Hatton with this long layoff is getting younger?

some people take punches better than others. some people are just more durable. others simply last longer.

take Marquez for example. he's considered in better shape than Morales.

Does that mean morales went through more wars and better competition than Marquez?

heck, even appliances of the same model and the same brand don't last the same length of time.

Well if he gets hit to the head that much, his punch resistance will go. He is young so his speed wont visibly slow that much right now, but it could happen anytime soon, he is younger then Morales and Barrera afterall.

JT still boxes well and looks the part, but he falls apart towards the end of fights now. It is subtle and not as blatant like you expect it to be.

Yeah, Morales went through more wars and better competition. And has as good and probably a better chin.

Yes the body will have wear and tear but you shouldn't compare a human body to a tyre. The human body regenerates but tyres don't.

Look at Ricky Hatton. He's been on a layoff since 2009. Does the same rule apply to him in this case? Do you think he'll be sharper in the ring if he returns?
